The Medrar Medical Center is a welfare project grouping together different medical and social facilities in a serene and green environment in the village of Choukine, 60 km south of Beirut.
A sustainable project designed for LEED, comprises geothermal heating system and solar photovoltaic farm.

The Medrar Medical center is composed of 4 blocks:

  • Block A: Administrative Building.
  • Block B: Geriatrics, ophthalmology, Ears Nose & Throat, Oncology (73 beds).
  • Block C: Rehabilitation Center (63 beds).
  • Block D: Cardiology, Orthopedics (92 beds).

The department includes:

  • One-day surgery unit, emergency and triage services
    • Diagnostic imaging and endoscopy unit
    • Cardiac Cath, ICU/CSU and CCU units
    • 6 operating theaters, one large recovery area with an isolation room and D&T sterile processing department
    • Orthopedic center
    • Cardiology center
